I think he may have. When people have a chance to get invested into their char, which normally happens in the 50's, you're willing to endure more bullshit. It's called in poker pot committed, here we call it "/played committed." When you get griefed in your first day or so it's much easier to go "meh fuck this," and quit.

I see both sides of it. It is one thing for an enemy of yours to do something shitty to you but it is another thing if one of the most powerful characters on the server treats you like dirt for no reason when you are level 30.

If it is a twink and they pk you then you can make the determination that whatever, the guy is a loser and this is how he competes in PvP.

If someone level 60 does that to you it just gives the impression the people don't want you on the server. Level 60's should be nice to players new to the server and try to make it fun for them. I'm not saying don't pk a new player that is in range of your character, but when a level 60 breaks server rules to make you lose exp and your on your first level 30+, it can rub you the wrong way.
