... or you could just ask pretty much anyone who seems relatively trustworthy.

I've transferred shit probably at least 50 times and never had anything stolen. Even when I use lowbies who just got into my guild a few days prior (Knights Who Say Ni - pretty much invites everyone), they were always super cool about it.
