This is incredibly wrong. Freeport guards were always hunted 24/7 during live, and Verant only nerfed them by adjusting the spawn times and changing their weapons to FS (they originally dropped regular weapons which were incredible cash cows). Yes, tons of people had awesome soulfire faction.

And Neriak guards were very, very, very easy exp. As a Gnome Necro they were a fantastic place to gain levels and dropped lots of plat/weapons which I could sell to different factioned vendors.

The downside of killing guards was the faction. That was considered "balanced" to Verant for years.

potus i think ur memory match with mine because i still remember people farming guards non stop because they droped no fs but weapons wich sold for 15 20 pps , and im for sure i camped the guard in neriak from 43 to 46 and they payed my first deepwater helm
