Just realize with TMO gone, another guild would take its place as getting 80% of the raid mobs.
I've read your posts for awhile and can appreciate what you say. However, after the new agreement that was put into place last night, and the fact TMO is now out of the picture for a brief period of time, can we at least give it a shot before saying it's destined for failure and will never work?

Even if deep down that's what we truly believe. Come on now, you're not going to get any bonus points when/if it falls apart for saying "I told you so!", so let's just try/hope something good can come of this, right?

At least as of today there's a glimmer of hope for peaceful raiding on the server, this time 2 days ago that glimmer wasn't there.

No reason to shit on it and pontificate it's failure, lets do what we can to make things better now. If they don't, at least we tried and it worked for awhile, right?

I'm giving it a shot right now. Try the calendar. It would be fair in the sense that everyone gets a chance to do things. See how everyone feels about it.

I'll tell you this though as far as Rogean's comment on a Velious without raid gear, and I think the GMs will back me on this.

If he says he's going to do something like that, and you disrespect him. He'll actually do it.

And guess what? After he does it? He won't be in touch for another 8-15 months because he's busy with other shit. No matter how sorry both ends are, his PM box is just going to be full and he's training for some technical cert or is in Vegas at some EQ thing and... frankly just won't be bothered spending even more time reversing something very time consuming that he's just implemented.

I see. You think you know better than the collective guild leaders about what the guilds will find to be a good agreement. The leaders got together and made an agreement. You don't think it will work and are now shitting on it any chance you get, while proposing a system that pretty much 0 of the guild leaders think would be a good idea. Are you upset you weren't consulted before they came to this agreement? Is that why you're all over these forums with this nonsense?

I'm saying please do it and give it a chance, maybe everyone will be happier.

I'm also saying there's still going to be a lot of players without epics.

Whether its playing at 5:30am to get a Trakanon or farming the plat to buy it... the most dedicated players are still getting the loot right now.

Even when you get the mob every 6 times its up... the most dedicated players among you will get it.

I know that another guild in the same position would act the same way as TMO. I know truly why the other guilds are happy this happened (loot!).

I'd say its less that I'm shitting on things and more that I just don't have the faith knowing a lot of you (without knowing it was me you were talking to) what will happen.

Which is all the more reason to work towards friendlier interactions and a better raiding environment and not discount everything immediately, right? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
