I liked Michael Bay in the 90s, stopped paying attention to his work after the first Transformers movie, particularly when everyone said the second movie was worse.
My favorite Hollywood director is... well was Ridley Scott. Oh my god Prometheus was bad... I don't really want to choose because they all have their advantages so I'd say it's a three-way tie between Quentin Tarantino, Del Toro, and Zach Schneider. [You must be logged in to view images.
