Yes, and one guild has several shiny pixels to show for it, and the other has zilch.

I do not understand FE/IB's grief strategy in VP. Merkk is simply kidding himself if he thinks a 3 hour delay is seriously upsetting anyone in TMO. Three weeks, maybe. Even if your strategy was working, the vast majority of people are not psychopathic enough to find griefing emotionally fulfilling. It's one thing to post a troll post on RNF; it's another to spend hours and hours of time doing nothing but preventing other people from getting things done. VD tried it and failed. FE tried it and failed last winter. It is a dumb strategy and I see no reason why it will work this time.

Why are you not attempting to kill the dragons yourselves? You guys are killing Trakanon so much (and IB has so many keyed players) that you must have 100+ keys. You should be able to batphone sufficient players to kill anything in there. So what if you fail and get corpse camped. At least your players will know that a) you're trying and possibly even b) making progress. I don't play any FD classes, but I imagine that actually pulling a dragon solo to the zone in and training away guards is both different and more difficult than just dropping a bunch of wurms on the zone in. The closer you come, the more people will be willing to batphone.
We started in VP 2-3 weeks ago, killed one dragon and have had many attempts since. We will have many more - the difference is that I really do not see the need to subject an entire raidforce to what potentially (and usually) amounts to 5 hour or more CRs to get items that are not even that amazing. Especially as our countertrainers are not yet as experienced as TMOs.

As for our small train force - it both builds experience in the zone and is somewhat fun; much more so than staring at a wall tracking for hours on end at the least. VP is all about manipulating pathing - as Zeelot pinged Silverwing and PD around the zoneportal today interruping their AEs for 30 seconds until his raidforce was ready to engage shows.

Perhaps if you went in there under the pressure of having to learn how it worked, instead of just tagging along for free rots, you might understand that it is a bad idea to throw people in there that have relatively little experience with the zone and its current mechanics.
