yes it does as long as their isn't something else holding said agro u can have 10 pets tanking a mob but the first war to step in and hit it will automatically draw agro Y because PETS DON'T HOLD AGRO WORTH SHIT. That's y if u are chain petting something all ur doing is throwing pets at it not trying to nuke it down

Has nothing to do with the amount of aggro on the pet, it's simply due that an NPC will always attack a player in range over an npc.
