Yes but they designed those zones. We're trying to reverse engineer them and with the loss of eqmac shortly will lose our best research tool.

I dont see your point.....velious could be launched earlyy without access to tov or sleeprs tomb/pog. WHy should the vast populace of the server wait for the ubbers playgrounds to be finished off?

Not that I would be against a Velious launch with some zones locked but with the closing on the EQ Mac server now is the time to work hard on garnering and assimilating data. The launch of Velious would be a large time commitment for the devs and they could miss the window of opportunity to gain that EQ Mac info.

This is essentially what I was getting at, thank you. It would be one thing if the devs could simply make up these zones with their own twist (like sony did) but we are trying to recreate something as it was, and with eqmac closing the window to getting that information is closing.

In many cases, there are loot tables that are shared, and those are a pain. Also, we kinda work on what strikes our fancy. Like, Skyshrine mobs are 'unscrewed', but the loot tables aren't because they make my brain go potato. Kael is as pristine as the day it opened. Thurgadin isn't because of the 10000 scripts.

Besides, doing raid zones is way more fun than pathing Bulthar0994.
