The definition of poopsocking is sitting on the game, waiting for a mob to spawn SO MUCH SO that you must in fact...poop in a sock. Camping a character and going to work / school (in my case) means that i am free to poop in a bathroom. GG

2. I like watching afkers get eatting by mob spawns.

FE/IB camping characters in game is no different than what TMO has done to the rest of the server. We've taken raiding to a more ridiculous level by actually having a raid force on hand, which is probably how other guilds view TMO. You guys track mobs and camp out raid forces, which other guilds don't. I'm sure they'd like it if you didn't camp out your raid force at mobs, just like you'd like it if we didn't camp a raid force inside VS. Sometimes it works for us (as shown by our numerous kills recent) and other times it doesn't, like with VS today.

I do think it is hilarious that a guild that has merged numerous times, raided with 60+ people, and has been farming the same content non-stop for 2 years to the detriment of everyone else on the server is complaining when someone else utilizes a tactic they don't like. As people have mentioned else where, DA, which at least on P99 is the raiding successor of TMO (if I remember right TMO literally didn't have a single kill on the server before merging with DA/Ascension/Fusion) was the guild that popularized poopsocking as a tactic. You guys used poopsocking to get where you are now and "drive IB off the server".. but now it is a lame tactic.

Poopsocking was happening long before DA was around. TMO had kills prior to the merger including a VS kill. Stop defending poopsocking it isnt healthy for either guild/any guild.

I'm not defending it, I'm saying there are varying degrees of dedication that go into playing this game. Just like how TMO makes raiding on this server miserable and impossible for most other guilds, IB/FE are trying to make raiding on this server miserable and more difficult for TMO. You don't like how we supposedly have 10 people on a spawn point for 96 hours, too bad. I'm pretty sure the rest of the server doesn't like how you've monopolized content with tactics they feel are ridiculous for the past 2 years.

Likewise, you defend training in VP, which isn't healthy for either/any guild. You sure seem comfortable picking and choosing which raid tactics are acceptable.

And DA actually did start poopsocking in a meaningful way. The guild was formed in early 2010, less than 6 months after the server came up, so it wasn't going on long before them. While Trans and IB may have had a bit of spawn camping between them, it didn't get popularized until DA started camping their raid force inside the fire wall for CT.
