A. "Oh, when x happens I'm going to have my gun and I'm going to shoot people so that I can survive."

Should be:

B. "When x happens I'm going to remain civil like a human fucking being, and do what I can to get by without fucking everyone over."

America definitely is going to shit. The largest debt in the entire history of human civilization isn't going to simply disappear because you bury your head in the sand. The illusion that this isn't a fake economy built on fiat currency will eventually shatter, China will stop lending us money, and then the dollar will crash. We're already in the terminal stages of decay and collapse.

And you're right, we are "human fucking beings". We are animals with instincts that are the opp of civility. In a panic, most people will kill you for food. That's why you have a gun, to kill them and eat them first.
