It's actually not a run-on sentance. I have inserted an exclamation phrase arbitrarily (there is no really 'correct' way to do this, I suppose having it be it's own sentance would have been more correct?) for speech-simulation-flow at the beginning of the first sentance, and the second sentance is missing one or two comma(s) depending on how you read what is there currently.
