Textures generally look noticeably better.

The only thing I dont like about them is the eyes on certain faces, especially on smaller races, seem to look a little strange. Its like everything else is crisper having more depth, but the eyes look like they were drawn with crayon. Its not as pronounced with the lower res models, but pretty obvious with the new.
