I never started on R99 when it was released because I didn't really care to play a 1x pvp box unless it had RZ FFA + item loot ruleset.

With that said, I've given Red99 a fair chance over the past couple of weeks. And as a person that never had any allegiance to any guilds here that is essentially starting up fresh, I can say that Nihilum is a huge deterrence to me continuing my play time here in any serious capacity.

I've met some decent folks that just love the pvp here on the box. I hold no grudges against anyone that wants to fight. You can gank me one minute and we can be xp pals the next. Nihilum, however, takes it to a whole new level of absurdity.

In my limited play time here I've met one gem in specific that goes by the name of Strydur on his main, Mirkuls on his alt. The guy is ridiculously obsessed with griefing people in OT on his outrageously twinked SK. I'm talking the type of obsessed that spends 2 hours straight at a zone line waiting for a previous groupmate to come back from plugging. The type of obsessed that pops onto said character the moment you enter the game. I've had gank squads where only 1 person is actually in range to my toon, but they're being run around with oor bard speed and oor dispellers. I can only imagine what it'll be like if I decide to hit 52.

Now, I've also met some real cool folks in Nihilum as well. And I've had some of them tell me not to judge the whole of the guild based on the actions of a few. But guess what? Nihilum is responsible for Nihilum members. Not all of us wronged you in the past. Some of us, believe it or not, just want a fair chance at enjoying the box. Being griefed by dragon and god loot geared alts is not a fair chance.

It boggles my mind that you could possibly be enjoying the box the way it is. Despite what anyone may claim, pvp on here is dead. Yellow text once every 2-4 hours most days is not thriving pvp. But hey, maybe you really do enjoy logging in for PVE once in awhile and twinking out alts to destroy any potential new players that attempt to play the box. In which case, god help you all pals, because Red99 2.0 isn't going to be any different then.
