Default WHY would Red99 ever be merged to blue?

I understand the current server dynamics leave more to be asked for. Fine.

What I don't understand is the prospect that people who have poured time progressing characters on the red box, might be merged into blue? I'm hoping by this they meant there would be the option to merge into the new box, or blue if you've lost your fucking mind or something.

Because sending characters to blue is as good as deleting them to most of the red playerbase. I've never played a blue server. I never will. It's completely unappealing to me.

I'm guessing/hoping it was a miscommunication, but if you told me my characters will eventually end up on the blue box I would quit right now.

they said it was an option not set in concrete. yall need to learn to listen. they basically said depending on what most people want, it would be merged to blue or new red or new red would be merged into it.

obviously unless some crazy shit happens the 2 pvp server will merge. the only question is which ruleset would they keep.

If it merged to blue you'd have a lot of upset blue players QQ'ing over the extra manastones/fungis etc on sale. Won't happen.

was really wondering about this, will transfers be stripped? Seems like the only fair way to do it on either side. If 6 months in we have a whole guild show up geared with 3 years of farming we kind of end up being right back where we were.

Yes, that's right. Sending Nihilum to Blue99 to get Crushed by TMO seems by FAR the lesser evil then sending Nihilum to RedTeam99 in 6 months so they can try to crush a Whole Second server's Player Pop like they have tried & succeeded really in crushing Red99's Player Pop.

it will be "crushed" either way cuz teams makes zerging even easier and a lot of nihilum neckbeards ready to do it up hard on team99

You're actually wrong there. The #1 thing that makes zerging EASY is being able to invite EVERY CHARACTER on the server to YOUR Zerg. FFA does that, Teams does not.

You can still zerg on Teams but it's DEFINITELY Easier on an FFA server. I think your extreme dislike of changing things from what they are now blinds you to this fact.
