the problem with the box is four fold right now.

The resist system is not classic and caters to zerging more than playing skillyfully, roots, snares landing far too often, partial resists non existant, highsun, stuns etc etc etc.

Most changes made in the interest of being more classic just take the fun out of the game and make content more difficult for the people outside of nihilum.

The player base is scummy as hell. There are undoubtedly 40+ people who started off in Red Dawn, VV, Azrael, Force, Classic, whatever and sold out everyone who helped them to join Nihilum and help Tune get loot for his alts. I have personally helped countless people who have betrayed me. That's the worst problem this server has is that even when people come to play here with the best intentions of helping the community, the community punishes them for it until those sorts of people have to adapt or quit.

The players don't trust the staff. I think it is pretty clear at this point that Nihilum cheated every bit as much as Holocaust. I think it is pretty clear that Arzak feeds them information related to resets and upcoming patches. It shows that the server still has no trust for the staff when decisions like Roggeh being restored polarize the server so much. The time for being fair about this has passed. That was the true death blow to the red99 project.

Work on that shit, or don't.
