Any Tips for Soloing Casters?

Arteker, could you clarify a bit?

What I mean is, when I solo a caster (and this doesn't seem class-specific to me) they use their spells to blind me, dot me and then nuke me to death.

So, I'm just wondering, is that not happening for you because you resist their spells, or because you have a ton of hit points and can ignore their spells, or because you can interrupt their spells, or ...?
