the ability to MQ has been a fundamental part of everquest from the beginning. I got most of my alts kael armor multiquested in velious on live because its not really fun for me to camp a set of armor / gems after doing it the first time or 2.
Whether they originally intended MQ to work or not, sony never removed the ability to do so in any expansion we will see on this server.
If you really think they would remove MQ from working, you are only fooling yourselves. Its as classic as recharging at vendors.
