One of the few times HB and I agree. People who complain about ez-mode were never part of a good team/guild to raid or PvP with. WoW still blows EQ out of the water in terms of difficult content. WoW still blows EQ out of the water for PvP. I would love to see some of the scrubs in the thread compete at the level of 2200+ arenas TBC era. I would love to see the scrubs posting here be able to hang in Ulduar/ICC hardmodes or AQ40 in its heyday

You were truly delusional if you believed that an mmo made in today's day and age would be made exclusively for the hardcore audience who wanted an EQ1 style game. That's a horrible investment for a company nowadays.

I, as much as anyone else on these forums, would love to see a modern day mmo made only for the hardcore players, such as an EQ1 with updated graphics.

Lets face it, that will never happen.. Casuals, run the mmo industry, we have to accept that.

All you have to do is look at this server and see that we are a select few people in the whole world that is into "Classic" EQ. What, there is like 2 to 3k people on here tops??
