Blueprint to Success:


1. Realize P99 right now is just a prolonged beta test.
2. Release Velious immediately and get all the kinks worn out.
3. Keep developing retroactively to make this game as CLASSIC as possible with the Titanium client. There's still loads of un-classic content right now.
4. Wipe this shit and put the server on a real classic -> kunark -> velious timeline.
5. Get rid of the Red server. PvP is not fun with a 100 pop. Instead, introduce PvP to blue with /guildwar. This also solves the current problems with high-end raiding.

Why wipe a beta?

I don't understand why people repeat this on the forum every now and then. The ACTUAL beta had little no players on it, because it was a beta and was going to be wiped upon launch. This is RELEASE where they haven't and don't plan to wipe anything for years to come.

There are no intentions by the staff to wipe the server after Velious at this point. I don't think there are intentions on releasing the server information after Velious is complete either. So how is this beta?

EDIT: And if this is in fact considered to be beta by the staff, post that shit on the front page of the website.

Same can (and should) be said for most of the Velious threads. I won't lie there's a few good ones, but the rest are just varying degrees of elbowing the devs to release it quicker.

Sure, it should have been here by now... but lets not rush hard working volunteers. Once it's here, it's here "forever" - you can only enjoy looking forward to it once... unless you're angry enough to fail at starting your own Velious server, as has been seen.
