Honestly, the thing that gets me is that Platlord slipped up. The way he ran his operationg meant that the GMs eventually got a hold of a spreadsheet that ultimately showed where all* of his assets were located.

I think he's proven time and time again that his methods of avoiding detection have been sound for 2+ years. Now some think this has to do with staff-corruption, personally I just think the dude has his shit down. He knows what he is doing. It's not like the serverstaff can really touch the guy, he had to be betrayed by someone within his own circle.

Whats my point? Unless he was truly so financially devestated by what occured that he cannot go on: he will be back. The market exists, and he has a proven method to profit off the environment.

This time he's very unlikely to make the same mistake again and have a document such as before available to anyone other than himself personally, perhaps even incorporate his business and hire employees that he would be able to hold liable if a leak were to occur.

Unless the GMs have drastically changed their RMT detection methods(not buying it), this guy guy has called it quits (unlikely), or Rogean pulls the plug (ya right) this guy is going to be back, and the cat and mouse game is going to continue.

He's not even the only one making a lot of profits off the server. So long as there are buyers and sellers this is going to be an issue, and newsflash it always has been and most likely always will be.

So who gives a shit.

*we're assuming this for the time being
