From a non fanboy standpoint - I honestly can't see why someone wouldn't run an all-AMD rig if price was a factor. The A10 APU running in crossfire with a decent Radeon GPU is beastly, and no slouch on non-gaming processing either. You can do an A10+Radeon GPU setup for ~$500.
