I have the same problem. I was playing up until 10:30PM EST last night and when I woke up this morning I couldn't connect. I hope someone does something about this soon because I have a corpse run to make.

I fixed this issue by right-clicking on the wallpaper of the launcer - and then clicked Run EverQuest only... and it will let you connect!
