*FLASHBACK* Wow, my first toon ever was an inkie sk, and darned if I didn't fall into the water too, with no idea how to get out... I'd say hit numlock to put it on autorun, hit ALT O to bring up your options window, and click on the Keys tab to learn what keystrokes will let you tilt your swimming angle up enough to jump out of the water.
