it depends on what you actually want to accomplish in the game. neither caitlyn nor karma are super picks in the current meta game. as far as ADCs go, the game play is pretty bland and homogenous no matter who you pick, and karma really isn't very good right now (never has been).

just a question, do you already have free tristana from facebook and alistar from youtube unlocked?

hybrid AP champs (elise, diana) are really good right now. i'd suggest learning them over caitlyn or karma any day. they can play three roles (top, mid, jungle). twisted fate is another decent hybrid, but he mostly plays mid. oh, and nidalee, too. she can top, mid, or support.

if you want to jungle, j4 is really well rounded. so is nasus.

if you want to support, pick up thresh and sona.

pure AP mids: ryze, orianna, kassadin

bruiser tops: zed, riven, renekton, jayce
