I like the race idea better than the good vs. evil. 4 teams is much cooler than 2

Four teams is twice as good as two, if my math is correct. But SZ had three teams, good and neutral were separate from one another.

Could make crossteaming a bannable offense, like 2-boxing. Or make the offenders FFA, so they can be killed by their former team and are unable to guild/group with anyone. That'd be a lot like banning, but much more interesting.

Are you volunteering to be impartial? and Fair?

Just make it impossible for heals to land on enemy teams, problem fixed. If 2 teams want to dps the same enemy thats not a problem.

Or if they decided to attack the same raid..

But the problem with <Teams> is your trying to enforce a playstyle on an entire server. I liked sullons teams. They worked fine for the most part, except the huge imbalance and noobs greifed off in 1 day if they strayed out of their safe zone. Might work better with + and - four levels.

Crossteaming could (and would) happen with hardcoded teams. Rogue DPS for raids, and stuff. So on Faerie's pvp teams server they would be gravely punished.
