If it's happening every trade, I'd say delete and replace your UI files, but since this is only happening on one character, I'd say find this file in your eq directory:

Ellia_project1999.ini

Or whatever Paladin's name if that isn't it.

Delete the file, the game will recreate it. You may have a trade window that's out of the bounds of the UI on that character or somesuch.
