I'm with Splorf. I think the seller just wants attention and "see what I *could* have gotten" on the item.

If he's trying to milk it for an amount like 5m, he could have just said "Starting bid 5million".

Catherin offered 1 million. When I told her I was looking for more, she retracted her offer.
