Miscellaneous: Auto Spec for Mages?

Hey all,

Not sure if its just me or not, but when I hit level 20 I went to go train and I noticed I already had 1 point into alteration specialization. Needless to say I am a magician now specced for alteration. I did not pick this as my spec and it seemed like it did it automatically. I put 1 point into my other specs and they instantly shot up to 20.

Is this suppose to be happening? Is there a way I can reset my specs so I can spec the way I want to? Has anyone else had this problem?
