If epicemu or whatever it's is anything like Project EQ then ti's doubtful that its loot/mob database is anything like velious was when it was live. IMHO, the fact that project1999 goes out of its way to be accurate adds legitimacy and endurance to the experience. It ensures that p1999 has a draw.
But I do think people will go to other emu servers for periods of time just to goof around and box. I do see them coming back sooner or later, since p1999 is the only way to get (accurate) classic eq. I wanted to point this out because the database differences are rather hard not to notice. I will rescind my statements if it turns out that epicemu tries to be accurate.
