It's all over the server. A long-standing TMO member, Desmo, got caught using an instant-log-not-exploit after the GMs specifically said not to use it. And he got banned for it, just like they said he would.

Except he didn't get banned. He's not banned now, and he won't be banned later. You see, Desmo is a lot like me. He has a blue robe that indicates his importance on the server, and in the time it took him to get it he's made a few powerful friends. We don't let the GMs on this box issue bans to our favorite members. Look at Jeremy, for instance. He got caught red-handed so bad he can't even play Malcolm anymore (that you know of), but we know how precious his LR stuff is to him (he never fucking shuts up about it), so we bailed his shaman out when he got busted two-boxing. We're doing the same to Desmo here.

Sure, Desmo cheated like a motherfucker in order to gain a real advantage over another guild during a chase scenario, and of course we're all more than aware that the method he used has been specifically indicated as a bannable offense. We don't give a fuck though. We're just going to keep fucking doing what we want. We're not even going to make excuses. You know why?

If they want us to stop cheating with impunity on their server, they're going to have to start enforcing their own rules. As long as they're taking our money to look the other way this is how it is. Fraps all you want. Nothing's going to change. Buying Desmo back from Rogean is just the cost of doing business. And business is good.

It does seem to run like a business. Are you saying that you think that the server staff and tmo run the rmt business together? Is that why you think no one in tmo has ever been banned for bannable offenses?

You could probly look at the stats. 1 billion petitions against tmo for griefing, cheating, training, aid disrupting, ect with like what? 4 weeks total suspensions served? They shoulda all been banned, leadership banned, ect for causing so much fucking grief. yet here they stand, tall, after buying up marshmellows while amelinda was in charge...buying up confirmed RMT accounts from IB with the same RMT money they get from selling epic MQs.
