Alchemy Component Costs

I always thought the prices for alchemy components were a bit off. I found this old post from EQshaman.com that showed the prices from 1999, at least thats archive.org took a snapshot of in 99.

Maybe its something to check? I remember alchemy breaking my bank, but never being as expensive as it is now.
