Haven't been playing on the server long, but I wouldn't say that there are too many druids. The druid class has always been one of the most popular classes in the game, due to their versatility. If the druid class is the one you enjoy the most, then play a druid. IMO it's not worth playing a class you might not like down the road. Yes, it can be annoying playing the, "most popular/flavor of the month class," when it comes to gear sometimes, but it's a small price to pay for your enjoyment of the game.
