You left out the most vital piece of information. What level is your current necro?
The answer to if you should reroll or not depends on how far you have progressed so far. (Worst case scenario you have a mule that can travel to certain zones without fear of getting killed).
I decided the day I started on this server that I wasn't going to roll a necro till Kunark is released. Plenty of other classes to play with till then and slowly collect gear to twink my necro when the time comes.
