Wizards and Bards are also bad for this sort of behavior--worse than necromancers, probably. Wizards do it to the extent the class is often avoided by experience groups. Folks who AFK a lot tend to pick these types of classes because they can do it without seriously harming their groups for the most part.

I had a Cleric take an unannounced AFK for over half an hour on one occasion. It didn't matter since the wife was there to pick up the slack with her Shaman, but gave the group a laugh. One group member said that the same Cleric had wiped other groups doing the same thing.
