^ here's the difference: in-game versus out-of-game. One day you might come around and see that. If players had a propensity for attention-baiting over coffee, candy bars, or any other thing they're hooked on I'd say the same thing. Except I haven't seen it. What I keep seeing is stoners going on and on about how they need to AFK (for the 14th time since the group started) to get their next bowl ready. And I know why they're doing it -- for attention. That's it.
