Here is some Halibut off Rodondo Beach, 2 mins out of harbor in a 14ft sciff.

Here is 1 of 14 blue fin i caught over 3 trips, all over night trips since fish were close, i gave away fresh blue fin by the ton to friend and family and had about 5 bbq's + sushi.

Nice catch. I was in cabo in '07 started off at sunrise fishing. Saw the sting ray just off the shore, there were so many of them it looked like the water was boiling because they were jumping in the air. Did about 4 hours of coastal fishing, caught some rooster fish then we went about 20 miles out and went marlin fishin. The one i caught was probably 195-220 pounds, took me about 45 mins to bring it in. Best part was the mahi mahi we caught. We took it to a hole in the wall restaurant and they cooked the mahi for us in like 7 different ways. Wish i had the pics available to show my catches!
