From my experience at the east portal room, any named can pop from a "named ph" except for DS and the mortiferous protector. My rarest has been the undertaker lord. It would appear that the mortiferous protector can spawn from any of the static golems in east.

Cool, so the spot that I fight at can spawn everything I still need from east. I killed crypt excavator yesterday (no helm), but after the fight I realized I still had cleric buffs from Daire rezzing me up earlier. I'm pretty confident they didn't make the difference in the fight, but since I pulled him with ivu+rune+proxy aggro and I did have one charm break, I can't say for sure that the extra AC from cleric buffs didn't cause me to avoid a bash that would have gotten me killed during the pull or the recharm.
