Im not for an overall increase in XP, I'm for the opposite in fact.
But, if this red server is going to have higher xp then blue (and a classic case can be made for a 20 percent higher rate, like sullon zek, to cancel out the xp on pvp death feature) then put the higher rate xp bonus where it can do the most good: scaleing group bonus, NOT a flat-rate solo applied xp bonus like it is now (beyond the 20 percent sullon zek classic bonus that is). Groups right now are broken, and part of the blame is the inflated xp bonus that rewards the smallest groups/soloers/people being PLed the most. To me this is a case of a non-classic feature (inflated flat rate xp bonus) breaking a classic intended feature (grouping). I have no horse in this race, I already have a level 60 (heavily) group dependent class and all my current and future alts are of course solo classes that get astronomically faster xp solo then in any sort of group. They will NOT group under these current conditions, its a waste of time. I am for this change, even though it will hurt all my future/current alts, because it is what is right for the server. All of you should be for what I propose too. | ||
