don't leave your toon on AFK, and lets see how ya do
The only way i can see myself playing this emu again is if they do something about the xp loss, which i dont think they will.

Might like EQ better over WoW in terms of difficulty, rareness of items, fun twinkage, (the economy on Rallos, but killed here cuz of no item loot) but at least in WoW i can smoke a joint, have some pvp for 3-4 hours, go back to doing a dungeon run without losing any PVE progress.

Even Eve online doesnt have such a harsh penalty for pvping. Yeah if u roll in the big leagues, you can lose a space station, a capital ship but once u get some money rolling you can pvp all day in a cruiser or frig if thats what you want to do.

Still, its the same reason why i left eve online, the ratio of fun vs work.

To me, grinding back xp in EQ PVE is hard work. Like breaking rocks in a prison.
If im playing as i want to, meaning loads of pvp, Im gonna die, thats for sure, probably more than twice a day for say, 5 hours pvp. That means if i do that for a week, thats FOURTEEN HOURS of backlogged PVE i gotta maintain.

Thats alot more work to me vs fun.

More power to you if you can pvp 5 hours a day, 5 days a week and log only 1 death but thats not whats my experience is like, and im sure its not 95% of the experience of anyone on the server either.
