world of warcraft 2 is confirmed going back to vanilla roots with a world pvp system,battle grounds style item gains built into the world with no instances, and a seamless transition to 'battle areas' such as warsong gulch, which is more of an ongoing battle, some old favorites are back (naxxaramas), and some new foes. There will not be a talent or tier system, but more of a specialization based on race and class(think priest early days). The racial animosity is back full swing, orcs vs humans is going to be a predominant theme on fighting for world bosses, think your favorite classic wow dungeons no longer instanced, on a 12-36 hr spawn time.
