I've never popped up from FD on a mob that spawned. Not even once!
One time Trak spawned on me as I was running out of his lair and I tried to FD him off - he broke my FD with a cast and then trak-touched me. The Trak was consequently given to BDA. It's interesting that you halfways do something one time unintentionally and suddenly people act like you've made a career out of it for years.
