You're right. I'm only now back after a long break. I did AE kite in LOIO for about 5 levels recently and I just want a change of pace. I'm kind of un aware of where the good, non-caster mobs may hang out without many adds. I have good enough gear to solo/tank with DOTS and DD and then regen back up afterwords in LOIO, I just hate the -ZEM.
