How to bypass eqemu?

I'm sorry if this information is located somewhere and I missed it.

Right now (10/9/12 6:20pm EST) EQ emu does not load the server list, but rather "searches" for it over and over. I am thus unable to log in. Even when I simply close the emu and click on EQ, I get the "could not connect, contact sony" message. However, server status is green with 400+ on.

How do I bypass problems with the emu to get in?
