Patriotism in the 'quest.
I distinctly recall in the days after 9-11 many players infused with a newfound patriotism. I remember on my live server, oasis of marr was packed with players hunting the sand giants. Enraged with ignorance and slaying anything with a turban and a beard.
I also remember logging into Battle.net Diablo II, and all the chat rooms were full of new accounts named KillBinLaden, FckIraq, etc. etc. What severe shifts in patriotism in online gaming do you recall? | ||
