You can tell by the surrounding area (pixels, seeing a lot of buses in my time etc) that they aren't at the head of the bus. Likely somewhere near the middle judging by the seats surrounding her and the number of people that pass to get off the bus (the seats indicating it's not the front, the passing people indicate it's not the back...unless they get off via the fire escape). The kids weren't overly loud, especially amongst the background children and the loud ass ear rape that is the sound of a moving school bus (or any other heavy diesel vehicle. I rode the bus when I was in high school If there's one thing I will never forget about my school experience it's how fucking loud that thing is between the other kids and the bus itself during the drive home. And the louder it is, the louder people talk, it gets even louder etc) and she sure wasn't making any noise to indicate the situation. Odds are the driver didn't hear, or even know, this was going on until the bus' route was complete.
