Quest Issue: Shining star of light

[Scavrefamn]

I was doing the shining star of light quest (Cure for Lempeck Hargrin) and a quest NPC ate my turn in and turned hostile.

This is mentioned in the wiki for project 1999 here but I did not get the Scythe return from this npc.

My faction was high so I do not think that was an issue.

If possible, I would like to be granted the return item so I can continue this quest, or to be given the potion that I gave him so I can complete this quest at a later date when it is fixed.
