I should actually rephrase what I said more seriously now that I look at it. Mind you this is all just my opinion.
I wouldn't mind Luclin coming out on P99 (inb4 "but not 1999!!!" yeah well Velious isn't either. that was late 2000. You're argument is invalid.) My timeline for EQ went as such Classic - Shadows of Luclin = God tier Planes of Power = A shot to the heart but still not too bad Legacy of Ykesha = Frogloks. That's all that expac was Lost Dungeon of Norrath = annoying but still not bad Gates of Shitcord = Everquest finally dying. This expac was so much asshattery it can't even be described. It goes beyond plain opinions. They designed the whole expansion around a level cap raise and then HELD IT OFF UNTIL OMENS. I can't possibly hold all these Why's... The development for this expac was just beyond words. Bioware tier terrible. Omens of War = Good. Redeeming, but GoD killed too much. DoN+ = There were a few good expacs. I liked TSS, SoF and SoD. But it just isn't the same. As such, Luclin on P99 in my opinion wouldn't be too horrible. I think it could reasonably progress to that expac without losing the Classic feel. Progressing one more step up to PoP however would kill that feeling. All in all, however, I think Velious should remain the ending point as, past Velious, it gets too arguable as to where good-EQ stopped and corpse-EQ begins.
