I guess I haven't been exposed to the politics enough but even then - I'm not even one to grief griefers. I'll do what I can to get them out of my way and keep them from being a threat, but I wouldn't sit there and waste my time draining their exp. it's just petty and does nothing but breed more anger. I am sure some poor undeserving bastard will suffer some retaliation from that. hah.
it's been my experience that you can only really be griefed repeatedly when you open yourself up to it, like the diptard that went AFK here. there's always options to avoid it. most people are cool enough to just work it out with a quick/polite /tell, you'd be amazed how people respond to you when you keep your cool and exercise a little patience. for those that aren't going to work with you.. well, you can always log, play another toon, do something else. even when you're being bind camped, you can close EQ.
we all come from different pvp backgrounds. I enjoy rivalries and competition as much as anyone - it's just a lot more enjoyable with less BS and more population.
