Game Mechanics: Auto Attack Fails to Activate

For the past several days my character Cecily has not been able to melee or shoot a bow properly. When auto attack is used a few shots fire off and then cease or nothing happens at all. These problems seem to happen after moving the character as in... kill mob, walk to next, press auto attack, no swings. Another example is when mobs run.

To temporarily fix this issue, I've found that clearing target and re-targeting the mob engages melee again. This, however, isn't practical as it needs to be repeated 5+ times a fight. Super annoying / dangerous bug. Halp =/
