Anon - What's the point?

Apparently I am in the minority or maybe the only person annoyed by anon people. Which is baffling, but oh well. It's usually not a big deal anyhow. I received some possible good reasons for going anon, and I'll just leave it at that. And no I don't steal people's camp, but then again I have never camped anything in my entire life. Groups I am in might say whatever camp we are in, but honestly I could care less. I don't feel like I've ever owned said camp or mob.
